Yesterday, the BNB Lab got together for a relaxed afterwork evening. We kicked things off with a few drinks and then headed out for dinner. Lots of catching up, easy conversations, and a good dose of laughter along the way.

The medial and lateral gastrocnemius muscles are two key calf muscles that play an important role in walking, cycling, standing balance, and many other movement activities. They have historically been considered as two heads of the same muscle and as having the same functional role and behaviour.

What an inspiring day at the 10-year anniversary of BruBrotics at VUB-ULB's USquare site! A decade of robotics, physical AI, and human-centered innovation was celebrated with over 130 participants, including researchers, industry leaders, international partners, and entrepreneurs.

Brussels, 18th September 2025 The ‘Aquatic Literacy For All Children’ project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Sport programme, presented its main results during the closing ceremony.

Last Thursday, September 18th, we proudly hosted the final event of the European ALFAC Erasmus+ Sport project, preceded by the very first Swimming Education and Aquatic Literacy Research Symposium at Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
