Maxine Vanhove

Maxine Vanhove (°12 January 2001) obtained her master's degree in Movement and Sports Sciences at the VUB in 2024. After graduating, she spent two years working on the project “Development, implementation and evaluation of a multi-component nutritional intervention to promote healthy eating habits among Flemish higher education students”, a project run by the Foundation Against Cancer, in collaboration with the VUB, Ghent University and Gezond Leven.
Maxine is currently a doctoral researcher in a joint PhD programme at the VUB and Ghent University. As part of the FWO-funded PLANT-Z project, she is researching strategies to encourage Generation Z to adopt more plant-based diets.
