Daan De Vlieger

Daan De Vlieger obtained his Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy, with a specialization in Musculoskeletal Disorders, from Ghent University in 2022. He subsequently completed a second Master’s degree in Neurorehabilitation at KU Leuven in 2023. He is currently pursuing a joint PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences at Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Ghent University, funded by the Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO) as an Fundamental Research fellow. His research focuses on optimizing neuromuscular assessments in individuals after stroke, with particular emphasis on electromyography and ultrasound imaging techniques.
