CPR unLMTD: Teaching and Training CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) in schools with limited resources
CPR unLMTD (Teaching and Training CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - in schools with limited resources) is an Erasmus+ project implemented from May 2025 to October 2027 in Belgium, Cyprus, Greece, New Zealand, and Poland. It serves a dual aim: first, to ensure accessible CPR training for all in school education settings by combining the benefits and strengths of self-made learning materials for CPR; second, to increase the implementation rate of CPR at school in partner countries and beyond. Pupils co-create Do-It-Yourself (DIY) learning materials for CPR that they can relate to, regardless of their identity, values, and beliefs. Subsequently, they make use of these self-made training materials to teach CPR at home to their relatives (multiplication effect). In this manner, school-based initiatives contribute actively to promoting health education within their communities. By integrating the project's outcomes across various levels, CPR training becomes more embedded in community practices, thereby enhancing the project's overall impact.
