Master student - Master of Science in Movement and Sports Sciences
Biography
Alexander Schols is a master's student in Movement and Sports Sciences, specializing in Biomedical Research at KU Leuven. He is working on his master's thesis under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Jolien Gooijers. The research focuses on age-related changes in myelin in the brain (corpus callosum) and how these are associated with bimanual movement control.
In addition to his thesis, Alexander is undertaking a research internship at the BNB Lab under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Jeroen Aeles. In this project, he focuses on intramuscular electrical stimulation in human muscles.
